When I See You is the first track chosen by Promenade to introduce listeners to Ballads 5, the album set to be released in the second half of the year. More than just an album, Ballads has become an ongoing project for the Prague-based Italian artist. While Ballads 4 explored connections with chill hop and LoFi atmospheres, Ballads 5 returns to being a rolling project.

DJ Promenade is a boundary-pushing artist whose journey into drum & bass began in 2002, initially focused on DJing before expanding into production. In 2007, alongside DJ DP, he co-founded G Recordings, releasing music that gained support from legends like Roni Size, Aphrodite, Dillinja, and Bryan Gee, with frequent airplay on BBC 1Xtra and Kiss FM. In 2011, he launched BNCexpress, a label dedicated to blending fresh talent and diverse musical influences into a smoother, funk-driven drum & bass sound. Known for his immersive live performances, Promenade fuses sampling, synthesis, and deep rhythmic explorations, pushing sonic boundaries in electronic music.
